Villa del Arco is 1 km (0.5 mi) from downtown Cabo San Lucas, with its lively array of shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. The Raven Golf Club, designed by the prestigious Dye Corporation, is also about a kilometer from the resort, and numerous other championship courses are within 20 km (12.5 mi).

La Perla, the resort's gourmet restaurant, showcases fresh seafood, steaks, and international cuisine. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Resort shops sell jewelry, pewter, tobacco, artworks, and crafts. A market, pharmacy, and video store are also on site. Spa services and a health club are available at a companion resort (surcharges apply).

This beachfront Cabo San Lucas resort offers 231 spacious suites in three seven-story buildings with elevators. Private balconies face the ocean or gardens. All suites have well-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. Stylish contemporary decor includes marble floors, crown molding, muslin drapes, light-caramel-colored cabinetry, plants, and Mexican ceramic bathroom accessories. Recreation

This beachfront resort has two large outdoor pools with waterfalls and views of El Arco, Land's End, and the sparkling bay. An on-site water-sports center rents kayaks, boogie boards, snorkels, and motorized personal watercraft. Guests can also book horseback riding, fishing excursions, sightseeing cruises, boat rides to Lover's Beach, and all-terrain-vehicle adventures. Tennis courts are on site. Villa del Arco faces El Medano, Cabo's main beach. Spanning three km (about two miles) of pale-gold sand washed by calm waters, the beach is popular for swimming, sea kayaking, snorkeling, waterskiing, parasailing, and motorized water sports.

The waters around Cabo San Lucas provide some of the finest sport-fishing in the world, with a variety of species and year-round abundance of marlin. Charter boats are readily available.

Cabo is also known for its championship golf courses designed by such notable names as Tom Fazio, Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Dye Corporation, and Tom Weiskopf. The Raven Golf Club, 1 km (0.6 mi) from Villa del Arco, overlooks El Arco and the ocean.
